Hello! I am Michelle Corrigan, I live in Chorley, and I am absolutely passionate about animals.
I have a Bsc (Hons) in Zoology, a loving family of my own, and have thoroughly enjoyed teaching biology at both secondary and undergraduate level. I hold specialist qualifications in animal behaviour, dog handling and pet first aid. There is always more to learn. But the most important thing about me is my love of animals. Dogs, in particular, are social animals needing companionship, mental stimulation and exercise. Their happiness depends on us meeting those needs, and rests solely in our hands. It is a responsibility I approach with a huge amount of enthusiasm and energy. I have a big heart, and even deeper pockets – mostly filled with tasty treats!
Modern day pressures and increasingly busy lives (not to mention the great British weather!) mean our beloved pets may not get as much of our time as we would like to give. The pet industry is bursting with standard services offering to help, but my deep sense of compassion drives a commitment to provide a more ethical approach to pet care. Something special, and something professional. It needs to excel. There is a definite need in this growing business to raise expectations, improve standards, regulate qualifications and secure accreditation … let's start leading the way.
