Puppy Kindergarten classes Perfect Manners puppy training class

It's never too soon to start.

From the moment we bring our adorable puppies home, regular exposure to new sights, sounds and experiences will help them to develop into the relaxed and confident companions we hope for.

Socialisation is the process of overcoming a puppy's natural fear of all things they don't know. Their fear is an instinct for survival. But it is essential for them to learn to relax in order to adopt more appropriate responses in their new domestic life.

Engaging in socialisation at an early age helps to minimise fear, settle anxiety and reduce aggression. A precious window of opportunity exists between 8 to 12 weeks when puppies are particularly receptive to new encounters. Positive socialisation during this developmental stage can have a profound effect on a puppy's long-term behaviour and temperament.

Puppy Kindergarten is held at Hillcrest Veterinary Surgery in Eccleston on the first Tuesday of each month from 6.30 PM till 7.30 PM. Providing an enjoyable first association with the Vet. The aim is to make sure that every new experience is a good one!
